Women’s Self-Defense Workshops

We are now offering Women's Self-Defense workshops! In these increasingly dangerous times it's important for Women to build awareness, and have the knowledge and tools to be able to defend themselves from an attack.

If you are a young lady that is starting to date or planning to attend college, or you are a professional working a night job in a city environment, you should be aware that there is an increased danger of a physical assault in these situations.  In the Capital District every year we read about students at SUNY Albany, St. Rose, Union College, and Albany Med being attacked! Don't become a statistic, learn to FIGHT BACK! We want to help you build the awareness and self-defense skills to be able to avoid an attack, and as a last resort be able to effectively defend yourself and escape!

HOW TO GET STARTED?

Talk to your friends and co-workers, and if you have a group of (5) or more please contact us and we can setup a single or multiple class Self-Defense workshop.  It's just that easy!

Training Guidelines

I have recently decided it is necessary to make sure that everyone that trains at Tang Muay Thai understands the basic guidelines that our members are asked to follow if they are going to train with us. These Training Rules are common in traditional schools, but if you are new to Martial Arts training you might not be aware of them. I would ask all my current students to take a few minutes to read them, so everyone is on the same page.
